🖲️ This is a new enclosure design for a mouse's PCB, while retaining the clicking feature of the mouse.

🔆 Highlights

  • One single piece acrylic bent into shape to make the mouse enclosure.
  • Compliance mechanism made of acrylic to serve as new buttons on the mouse enclosure (which is used to push the buttons on the PCB).
  • Flexible strucures to snap fit the PCB.

🗿 This is one of the personal weekly projects of the TECHIN 511 (Fabrication And Physical Prototyping) course @ GIX, UW.

I used laser-cut stacked MDF board (heat resistant) to serve as a mold for the bending process. Heat gun was used to heat the acrylic sheet.
